- Display the Home tab of the ribbon.
- Click on the small icon at the bottom-right of the Paragraph group. Word displays the Paragraph dialog box.
- Click on the Tabs button at the bottom-left of the dialog box. Word will display the Tabs dialog box.
- Click the Clear All button.
- Click OK.
Working with tabs is a challenge for most users. Here’s a tip that will enable you to easily delete all the tab stops in a document. Press Ctrl+A. This action selects the entire current document. Alan Salmon
