Questions & Answers

Excel Questions
Answers
Why did the dates change to numeric rather than keeping the calendar date?
The Cell format needs to be set to date, the value in the cell is the number of days since January 1, 1900.
Why would you use sort instead of just sorting the original table?
This sort does not impact the original data. It can also be setup with input fields like we did with filtering to make it easier for end users to sort the data. Lastly you could hide the actual data to prevent accidental changes.
I am on Office 365 but see I’m on 1902 with a semi-annual update plan. Is this why I cannot use this feature?
That is correct, your next update will likely include dynamic arrays. You can ask your Office 365 administrator to change your setup to Monthly Targeted to get the feature sooner.
