Can Array Constants be used across workbooks similar to macros saved in personal workbook? Or must exist in each file? |
No, they only exist in each file. |
I still don't understand where you would use array constants. It seems to be a lot of work for very little benefit. Can you give us some examples where you would use this in practice? |
If I am repeating certain text or values a number of times in a workbook I will create an array constant so I can enter the data quickly. With the array constant given a defined name it is very easy to use in a formula and avoid problems caused by people changing the workbook; for example deleting a cell in your constant values listed on a worksheet. |
When using the Max formula, how do you automatically display the name of the item that corresponds to the max finding? |
You could use index/match on the max result. Check out this YouTube video. |

Can I use QBO Accountant version for work with a client's QB desktop file? |
For ‘Work’ or the practice management space in QuickBooks Online Accountant – yes, you can use a desktop client in this space. You cannot however access the desktop client from this space. |
Can a client upgrade the subscription from essential to plus in QBO without having to create a separate account? |
Yes! Please see their subscription in the account menu. |
I wish the Work Tab was the default when you sign into QBOA. |
It can be! Bookmark the page when you're on Work. |
Is Intuit improving the desktop edition of QB or is the focus only on QB online? |
Intuit is still doing lots of work into improving QuickBooks desktop editions. We put out many new releases for 2018, and will continue to support it. |
Why don't you have pre-filled G/L accounts for suppliers like in the desktop version? |
We are working through a number of workflows, and I can say that we’re aware of this one. Keep up the feedback, that helps our product managers prioritize new builds in QuickBooks Online. |
How do you get a QBOA account that a client has signed up for in error deleted? |

For GST payments, why doesn't the amount payable go directly in to the payables subledger like the desktop version for manual cheque processing? |
