Financial statements form the heart of any accounting system, bringing together the final resting place of all the debits and credits. Entry level products such as Sage 50 or Quickbooks provide a basic set of statements, more than adequate for most small businesses. But what about larger organizations? Not-for-profits reporting to different stakeholders such as operational managers, directors, funding agencies and auditors. How can the different reporting needs of these constituencies be met? Adagio is designed specifically to meet the needs of accounting professionals.
The Adagio Financial Reporter is a full spreadsheet, with all the computational horsepower of Excel and most of its formatting capability. With Adagio, you won’t have to spend weekends in Excel generating operational statements for your managers and Directors. We’ll give you a guided tour of the powerful financial reporter so you can see how simple life can be. Learning Objectives

How many First Nation organizations in Canada are using Adagio? How many in Ontario? |
There are over 200 first nations organizations and businesses using Adagio across Canada. the majority of those are in BC and Northern Ontario. |
Does Adagio allow entering costs for projects and then reporting for those projects separately? |
Absolutely. Costs might come from PurchaseOrders/Payables, OrderEntry/Receivables or JobCost (depending on their industry and what ‘project’ means to them), and reports or inquiries can be generated from that information, perhaps a custom report depending on what information they need and how they want it organized. Ledger/Financial Statements can also print reports on the Cost Accounts, though it depends on what ‘project’ means to them whether these reports would be useful in this specific regard. |
